About Porky and Beth’s BBQ

We will only be open Saturday and Sunday for the remainder of the summer. Still available for special events during the week.

Porky and Beth’s BBQ was started a long time ago by Robert’s (aka "Porky") desire to cook better BBQ.  Over the years Robert has been experimenting with different types of smokers, rubs, sauces, and seasonings.  This eventually led to Robert competing in BBQ competitions.  While competing in these contests Robert learned different cooking techniques that led to even better BBQ and of course his wife Beth, was right there to learn and add her ideas.  Well, They had bought a trailer for these competitions and had told Charlie Bedner about it.  Charlie and his family had just opened a fresh produce market (Bedner’s Farm Fresh Produce) and the folks were telling them they needed something to eat at the market along with the great fruits and vegetables.  So, Charlie asked Robert if he would like to set up for a weekend at his produce stand.  The rest is history and Porky and Beth’s BBQ was born.

Just like the Bedner’s, Porky and Beth’s BBQ is a family affair.  You’ll see Robert out at the cooker and his wife Beth in the trailer.  If you can get their son Eric to stop texting you will see him helping mom and dad. 

Our goal at Porky and Beth’s BBQ is for you to eat the best BBQ ribs, chicken, pulled pork, beef brisket, and sausage that you have ever eaten.  We use different rubs, seasoning, and sauces during the cooking process to accomplish our goal.  If you would like to talk BBQ stop in and say “Hello”.
